PREPARING

It is important to be prepared when buying a home and having us at your side is the first step. We walk you through every step so that you always know what to expect each step of the way. With that said, your second step is to get pre-approved by a Lender. Are you looking for a good Lender? We have Lenders that we can put you in touch with that we trust and have worked with before. The next step before seeing homes is to identify what you need and want in a home. This helps us find homes that fit your criteria so that we are only looking at homes that will interest you.

VIEWINGS

Our first outing out to look at homes is an important one. This allows us to get to know your better and to learn about the things you like and dislike. This also gives you a chance to see what is available in your price range. As we look at homes, you will soon learn what your true needs and wants are. We will continue to look at homes until you find the one that works for you.

CONTRACTS

When you are ready to present an offer on a home, there will be paperwork. A lot of it. Not an issue though as we are here to explain all the paperwork involved with putting together a contract to present to a seller. There are many terms and strategies to being the offer the seller chooses. Together, we will put together the strongest offer we can to win you your home.

INSPECTIONS

Home inspections are a critical part of the home buying process. This allows you, as the buyer, to know where the house has areas of concern. This also allows us the option to negotiate the purchase price based on what we find on the inspection report. We will schedule the inspection and be at part of the inspection also. You can also be at the inspection but know they can last up to 4 hours. We will review the inspection together and negotiate fair and appropriate repairs where needed for your new home.

CLOSING

There are many moving pieces to get us to the closing table for you to sign paperwork and become a homeowner. Some of the people involved with helping you become a homeowner are the title company, your Lender, the escrow company, myself, and you. We are all working together on one common goal, to get your in your new home. We will be there with you every step of the way, including at the signing table and to hand you your keys.

MOVING

Moving can be a stressful process. There are many moving parts. Some include a moving company, days and times of move, getting to your new location and unloading all your items. That is the easy part. You also need to contact utility companies and update your address with companies/businesses you work with. If you have kids, don’t forget about their schools.
